2025 PASS Awards Night (and a big congratulations to all winners!)
We had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Principals’ Association of Specialist Schools (PASS) Awards — a night that truly celebrated the passion, leadership, and commitment across Victoria’s specialist school community.
The PASS Awards shine a light on the educators and school leaders who go above and beyond to create inclusive, supportive environments where every student can thrive. It was inspiring to be in a room filled with people who are deeply committed to advocacy, opportunity, and meaningful outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.
Congratulations to the 2025 award recipients:
-
Joanne Nolan (Sunbury and Macedon Ranges Specialist School) — Bank First Outstanding Principal Award
-
Polly Morgan (Glenroy Specialist School) — Bank First Outstanding Assistant Principal Award
-
Charlotte Peverett (Lake Colac School) — ANZUK Outstanding Middle Leader Award
-
Brydie Rowland (Kalianna Special School) — PASS Outstanding Specialist Teacher Award
-
Naserah Khan (Warringa Park School) — PASS Outstanding Teacher Award
-
Amy Coshan (Echuca Twin Rivers Specialist School) — PASS Outstanding Graduate Teacher Award
A special congratulations to Joanne Nolan, recognised for her courageous, visionary leadership and unwavering belief in inclusion and opportunity — the kind of leadership that not only strengthens a school, but elevates how specialist education is understood and valued more broadly.
PASS also acknowledged the nominees for the 2025 Bank First Outstanding Principal Award:
-
Matt Hyde — Warragul & District Specialist School
-
Corinne Pupillo — Jacana School for Autism
To everyone involved — winners, nominees, organisers, supporters, and the wider PASS community — well done. The night was a powerful reminder of the impact strong leadership and a united community can have.
We were grateful to attend and pay tribute to the outstanding work being done — not only by the award winners, but by everyone across the specialist education community.
We’re looking forward to growing our relationship with PASS and continuing to champion the incredible work happening across specialist schools.
