If you’ve ever worked with us on a school shoot or seen one of our dynamic videos, chances are you’ve already experienced the creative magic of Vueey Le — though you might not know it.
Behind the scenes, Vueey is our Media Director: the steady hand and sharp eye responsible for transforming everyday school life into vibrant, memorable stories. But what many might not know is that Vueey is also one of Australia’s top food and drink photographers.
This July, Vueey will be stepping out from behind the camera and into the spotlight at FRMEFEST 2025, Australia’s biggest event for creators, photographers, and storytellers.
A Visual Chef in Action
Based in Adelaide, Vueey has built a name for himself as a “visual chef,” crafting bold, mouthwatering images that make you want to reach through the screen. His signature style blends storytelling, vibrant lighting, and a deep understanding of flavour — and it’s caught the eye of big brands like Fujifilm and Nanlite.
Over the years, he has run high-energy workshops across the country, helping other creators push their visual storytelling further. FRMEFEST 2025 is the perfect stage to showcase that talent to an even bigger audience.
What’s on the Menu at FRMEFEST
Across the two-day event at Carriageworks, Sydney, Vueey will lead four flavour-packed sessions:
🍩 Sweet Snaps with Mochi Donuts (Day 1, 12:15–1:00pm)
Get hands-on with Fujifilm’s latest gear and learn how to elevate your food content through creative styling, lighting, and composition.
🍸 Capturing Cinematic Cocktails (Day 1, 3:30–4:30pm)
Join Vueey and Jordan Reynolds to discover how to shoot cocktail content that’s as smooth as the drink itself.
🍜 Cooking Up Content with Dim Sim Lim (Day 2, 12:00–1:30pm)
A unique collaboration with Vincent Lim (@dimsimlim), blending food, culture, and social media storytelling in a way only these two can deliver.
🍹 Bartending Made Beautiful (Day 2, 4:00–4:45pm)
A live demonstration on capturing the perfect pour, with insights on telling the story behind every drink.
Beyond the School Gates
While Vueey’s work with schools has inspired thousands of students, his passion for food and drink photography is another example of how creativity can cross industries and audiences. He proves that the same eye for storytelling can capture the energy of a school assembly or the sparkle of a freshly mixed cocktail.
