The 2026 SAPPA Conference was a celebration of learning, sharing, connection and leadership across South Australian primary education.
Held over two days at the Wolf Blass Event Centre, Morphettville Racecourse, this year’s conference theme, “Yes, you can…”, set the tone for a program filled with inspiration, collaboration and meaningful conversations.
Day 1 included the Owfficial conference opening and SAPPA President’s Address, followed by sessions from Bob Willetts, Dr Liz Irwin and Angela Falkenberg, who shared insights around school leadership, wellbeing, collaboration and connection.
Day 2 continued with a fantastic lineup of speakers, including Associate Professor Lisa McKay-Brown on improving school attendance, Gavin McCormack on creating schools where every brain thrives, and Dr Gill Hicks AM MBE, who closed the conference with a powerful and memorable keynote.
Across the two days, school leaders had the opportunity to connect with colleagues, hear from engaging speakers, visit sponsors and share ideas that support the important work happening in primary schools across South Australia.
A huge thank you to SAPPA, Keito events, the speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and everyone involved in bringing together another fantastic conference.
